Horses
Horses — 11 coats, levels 1–100, stats, tack, feeding, healing, the T whistle, deeds and selling.
The horse is your main land transport: it's fast, carries you around the island, and levels up as you ride it.
How to get a horse
Horses are not handed out for free in the game. A horse appears once you redeem a horse deed — a Market item (sold for GOLD, see Market). You redeem the deed with the /horse command: the horse becomes yours, together with its tack.
Your horse slots unlock by player level: 5 / 15 / 30 / 50 — up to 4 horses in total.
11 coats (deeds)
Grey under saddle, White under saddle, Black, Bay, Dapple grey, Palomino, Black in armor, Bay in armor, White in black tack, Black in red tack, Golden in brown tack. Pictures are in the site's images section (where available).
Controls
- /horse — the horses window: summon, name (up to 20 characters), harness, view stats.
- T — whistle: your horse runs to you (up to 500 meters) while you're on foot.
- F — mount the horse; you can dismount at any time (you'll be set down on the ground next to it).
- You can't ride without a saddle.
Levels and stats
A horse grows from level 1 to 100 as you ride (galloping gives more XP than walking; jumping and swimming do too). XP to the next level: 1500 × 1.065^(Lv−1). Roughly: Lv. 10 in ~10 minutes of galloping, Lv. 50 in 4–5 hours, Lv. 100 in 100+ hours.
| Stat | Lv. 1 | Lv. 100 |
|---|---|---|
| Gallop speed | ×1.0 (≈ 11.4 m/s) | ×1.7 (≈ 19.5 m/s, ≈ 70 km/h) |
| Stamina | ×1.0 | ×2.0 |
| Turning | ×1.0 | ×1.5 |
| Jump | ×1.0 | ×1.27 |
| Swimming | ×1.0 | ×1.54 |
| Health | 300 | 700 |
Bonuses grow evenly across the 100 levels.
Tack
Works while the horse is harnessed. Put it on via /horse → "Tack".
| Slot | Items | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Saddle | traveling | speed +3 % |
| brown, red, black leather | speed +5 % | |
| Bridle | traveling | turning +5 % |
| brown, red, black leather | turning +7 % | |
| Blanket | brown, red, black | stamina +8 % |
| Saddlebags | brown, red, black | stamina +3 % |
| Mask | red, steel, black | defense +10 % |
| Armor | steel | health +40 %, defense +25 % |
Total defense is capped at 60 %. Tack bonuses add up with the level bonuses.
Feeding and healing
- Feed your horse: carrot, apple, corn, cabbage, beetroot, pumpkin, watermelon — use the action on the item in your bag while the horse is nearby (within 6 m). It gives +25 % health, restores stamina and a little XP. You can feed it once every 30 seconds; XP is granted no more than once every 2 minutes per horse.
- When an animal hits you while you're next to your horse, the horse takes part of the damage. At zero health the horse collapses, bleeding ("wounded"), and the rider ends up on foot. To heal it: press F on the downed horse or use the button in
/horsewith horse medicine; without medicine it gets back up on its own after 6 hours. - If you dismiss your horse, its health fully recovers in 10 minutes.
Selling
You can sell a horse to another online player for gold: price 0.5–1,869 gold, and the buyer pays an extra 7 % on top (it's burned). Both accounts must be older than 7 days and have a reputation of at least 0. You can also resell the deed on the Market.
License
The rider license (Lv. 14, reputation 10, 1,800 ASD) is "coming soon"; for now you can ride without it.
How to get a horse
There's no free starter horse: horse riding is an expensive pleasure. You can only buy a horse on the Market (horse deed).
Coats (11 looks)
Each deed on the Market is a horse with a specific coat and tack.
