Islands and Map
The main island OnecliLand, Vankli and its locations, Gold Mine island, the Land of the Rotten with its volcano and lab, the map on M.
The world map is on the M key: a parchment map with fog of war (it reveals itself as you explore), a minimap in the corner, and markers. Your bag after death is marked with a green "My bag" circle.
The main island OnecliLand
An island that isn't on any map; hundreds of thousands of years ago the Aztecs, Sumerians and Maya lived here. Its area is about 36 km².
Vankli
The first settlement. A safe zone (no PvP): the settlement, the beach and the start of the spit where the Elder lives. In Vankli you'll find: the Administration House by the cowshed (TOR), the job board, RIK's house and hostel, the crafting table, the "OUR STOREHOUSE" storehouse, the Auction and the Market, the pier, wells, and a watchtower (28 m; F to climb up or down). You can't build your own houses in Vankli.
Landmarks
- The monolith on the beach: this is where the sea washes newcomers ashore.
- Elephant River: fresh water and fish.
- The mountain with the statue of JESUS: ore is found at its foot.
- The Great Buddha statue: the location of LUI's story quest.
- Caves (dangerous: zombies, veins).
- The summit with the crucifix: once a day a bronze ingot trophy appears there.
- Six wells.
Gold Mine island

The richest island, and the only place where precious metals are mined.
How to get there. By boat only, about 18 minutes south of Vankli on a Lv. 1 small boat (faster with an upgraded boat). Only players with the "Seafarer license" can get on board, both the owner and passengers. You can buy a boat on the Market (deed) or rent one for an hour from LUI the Fisherman at the pier. A horse won't make it to the island: it tires halfway and turns back to shore.
What to mine.
- Bronze, silver and gold: veined rocks on the platforms inside the ring of cliffs and in the cave. There are more of them inside the cave than outside.
- Each metal needs its own license: bronze from level 25, silver from 35, gold from 45. Without a license, the rock only shows the message "license required".
- Mining a rock takes a while: stand next to it, the bar fills up, and the metal drops as nuggets measured in grams. Any damage interrupts mining, so other players can knock you off and take the rock.
- Nuggets are smelted by the blacksmith (see Forge).
Who lives there. Tougher predators: leopards, pumas, bears, monkeys (levels 45–65). In the cave: zombies of levels 40–90 and the cave boss (95–100).
Dangers and rewards. The cave is dark and winding, so bring a torch, armor and healing. The reward: precious metals and rare relic finds.
Land of the Rotten

A dead radioactive island: gray earth, dry trees, barrels of waste, a ruined lab and a volcano with a lava lake.
How to get there. By boat, about 10 minutes west of Vankli. You need the "Seafarer license" (everyone in the boat). You can set foot on the island at any level, but a newcomer won't survive there.
Conditions.
- A gas mask with a filter is mandatory. Without it, radiation quickly drains your health and your breathing falters; without protection you die in about 2 minutes.
- Filters get used up, so bring spares. The gas mask can be upgraded from level 1 to 10: the higher the level, the longer it lasts.
- The gas mask takes the head slot (you can't wear a hat with it).
- A dosimeter in your hand shows the radiation strength with clicks.
Radiation zones.
- Zone 1, the shore: weak radiation.
- Zones 2–3, the forest and ruins: stronger.
- Zone 4, the lab: the strongest radiation.
What to mine. Sulfur, quartz, graphite, ilmenite and sapphire appear twice as often here, and veins regenerate faster. There's no bronze, silver or gold here: for those, go to Gold Mine island.
Who lives there. Hordes of zombies of levels 20–80: slow, but they run once they spot a player. Vultures circle over the island. XP for zombies is increased.
Dangers and rewards. Radiation, crowds of zombies and lava. The reward: rare resources, increased XP and relics.
Far islands and the ocean
The ocean is open to boats: you can sail anywhere, but you can't reach any shore without a Seafarer license. A horse won't get far at sea. For whales, see Whale Hunting. Lion Island (tournaments) and other places are mentioned in the plans and aren't available yet (coming soon).
