Boats

You need a boat to reach the far islands and to hunt whales. You can't swim on your own yet (neck-deep water is a barrier).

Seafarer license

Without a Seafarer license (Lv. 23, reputation 25, 4,500 ASD) nobody can get on board: not the owner, not a renter, not a passenger. The license opens the way to the far islands.

Two types

Renting

There are 5 boats at LUI the Fisherman's pier (by the dead whale): 3 small and 2 large. You rent them from LUI for 1 hour of real time, paid up front (non-refundable). Menu: /boat. The rental timer is shown at the top of the screen. When time runs out, the boat sails back to the pier by itself through safe water, with everyone on board. If you log out without returning the boat, it heads back to the pier after 2 minutes.

Your own boat

• You can't craft your own boat, only buy a deed on the Market: small for 500 USDT (25 GOLD), large for 750 USDT (37.5 GOLD). You can buy it at the MARKET house in Vankli or on the website.

• Register the deed in /boat: the boat becomes yours and is launched at the base shipyard. Up to 2 boats per account TBD.
• Only the owner can steer. Parking: "Park here" while at the helm, only near the shore.
• Passengers take a seat via "Board as passenger".
• You can only leave the boat in shallow water or at the pier.

Horses and the sea

A horse can only swim halfway to the nearest far island (at least 250 m from land). The far islands are reachable by boat only.

Where to sail

• Gold Mine island, Land of the Rotten and other islands: see Islands. Land of the Rotten is about 10 minutes away by small boat, Gold Mine island about 18 minutes. Faster with an upgraded boat.
